I am delighted to be able to offer a yoga class for Ageing Well East Lothian. If you want to join this class, please feel free to ask questions, but read the info below first:
classes will be 6:30pm to 7:30pm Mondays
classes open to all adults over 50
yes there are spaces
the first class is free and after that the cost is £4 per class or a block of ten for £40 - payment in advance please
payment can be online via online banking, please ask for bank details. Paypal payments are also possible. If you don't do online banking, please let me know and we will sort something out!
classes are suitable for beginners and those with more yoga experience
although being bendy is not a requirement to join a yoga class, it is important that you are able to get up and down off the floor unaided. There will be weight bearing on wrists and knees, but yoga is for everyone, so please let me know if certain things don't suit you and I will suggest modifications.
classes will include a variety of different yoga postures, breathing practices and relaxation. The aim is to promote wellbeing on every level - mentally, physically and emotionally.
all classes are on Zoom - please contact me for the codes
please practice yoga on a yoga mat or other similar non slip surface - ensure that you have enough space to move comfortably and safely in and that you will be warm.
please complete a health questionnaire before your first class - if you are unable to do this please read the questionnaire and let me know by email or telephone conversation of any conditions that you would have indicated if you had completed the questionnaire.
