Yoga has been a lifeline to me....I have been practising for over twenty years and teaching for over ten years. I am committed to a journey of learning and exploration and part of this journey for me is teaching. Without great teachers in the past I would not be where I am today. I love to share the knowledge I have and watch others begin to enjoy the many benefits of yoga in their lives. Yoga is a journey, not a destination. You cannot learn it in a block or from a book. I think of each pose as like peeling layers off an onion, going deeper all the time to the essence of the pose. A lifetime endeavour that pays serious wellness dividends!
As my yoga journey continues I learn each day how valuable yoga can be for absolutely anyone and I am now offering a range of classes to suit all ability and interest levels. You don't need to be able to touch your toes or wear fancy leggings to practice yoga - a quote I read recently went something along the lines of ....it's great if you can get your leg around your neck, but sooner or later you are going to have take your leg from around your neck and live life - use yoga to help you live a happy life! And that's the yoga I practice and teach and love - the yoga that helps us live life better.
